IT Recruiter 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars Tampa, FL 33607 IT Recruiter The Fountain Group Tampa FL The Fountain Group has an immediate opening for an IT Recruiter to join our recruitment team here in Tampa, FL. The IT Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and placing highly qualified candidates for technical roles, including software engineers, data analysts, cybersecurity specialists, and IT support professionals. This IT Recruiter role requires a proactive approach to building talent pipelines, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of the IT industry’s evolving needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with hiring managers to understand technical role requirements, including specific skills (e.g., Python, AWS, DevOps) and experience levels.
- Identify talent through conducting initial screens and resume reviews to match client needs.
- Assess technical and cultural fit while coordinating technical interviews with hiring managers.
- Guide candidates through the hiring process, providing timely updates, feedback, and a positive candidate experience.
- Build and maintain a network of passive and active IT candidates for current and future hiring needs.
- Ensure recruitment processes comply with labor laws and company policies, maintaining accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency with Boolean Search is Required!!
- 1-3 years of experience recruiting for IT or Technical Roles is Preferred
- Familiarity with IT roles, programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, JavaScript), and technologies (e.g., cloud platforms, cybersecurity tools) is Preferred
- Proficiency with ATS platforms, including JobDiva, is Highly Preferred!!
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to assess candidate technical skills and cultural fit whilst having strong negotiation and time-management skills.
