Job Description
HR & Recruiter Specialist BulletProof Group Bradenton, FL 34211 We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive HR & Recruiter Specialist to join our growing team. This individual will play a pivotal role in talent acquisition and employee lifecycle management across several brands under our parent company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruiting, screening, and hiring top-tier talent, as well as handling various HR-related tasks including onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration. In this role, you will work closely with management to ensure we attract the best candidates, evaluate their qualifications, and guide them through the interview and selection process. Additionally, you will manage essential HR duties to ensure smooth employee experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
Create Job Descriptions:
Collaborate with department heads to develop clear, concise, and accurate job descriptions for various roles across multiple brands.
Post Job Listings:
Manage the posting of job openings on multiple job boards, including Indeed and others, to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
Screen Candidates:
Review resumes and applications to assess qualifications, experience, and fit for the role. Use a combination of tools to screen candidates and assess their potential.
Conduct Initial Interviews:
Call and interview qualified candidates to evaluate their skills, experience, and cultural fit. Screen for both technical proficiency and personality traits aligned with company values.
Schedule In-Person Interviews:
Arrange in-person interviews for top candidates, ensuring both candidate and hiring manager schedules are coordinated.
Shortlisting Candidates:
Present a final list of 2-4 candidates for each role to management for final review and consideration.
HR Support & Employee Lifecycle:
Onboarding & Offboarding:
Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all paperwork is completed and proper procedures are followed. Coordinate offboarding processes for employees exiting the company.
Employee Benefits & Inquiries:
Act as a point of contact for employees regarding benefits, answering any questions and ensuring they understand their options.
Maintain Employee Records:
Update and maintain accurate HR records for all employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Assist with
Employee Relations:
Help resolve basic employee inquiries and provide support to ensure a positive and effective workplace environment.
Other Responsibilities:
Assist with HR-related projects and initiatives, including performance evaluations and employee training programs. Stay updated on HR best practices, recruitment trends, and relevant laws/regulations.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience). 2+ years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR roles. Strong understanding of recruitment strategies and HR processes. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels. Ability to assess candidates’ qualifications and potential based on both technical skills and cultural fit. Experience using recruitment platforms like Indeed, LinkedIn, or other job boards. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HR software (e.g., HRIS, applicant tracking systems). Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to hiring and employee management.
Preferred Qualifications:
SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar HR certification. Experience in a multi-brand or multi-company HR environment. Familiarity with benefits administration and employee relations.
