Job Description

Talent Acquisition Specialist responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Forge and expand partnerships with academic institutions, community organizations, and career centers to bolster brand visibility and resonation among a broad range of demographic groups
  • Develop and implement innovative approaches to connect with diverse demographic groups of potential talent
  • Attend college career fairs and other targeted community events to attract top talent and build brand awareness
  • Identify top talent through various sourcing techniques, including university partnerships, job boards, networking events, and social media platforms
  • Identify qualified talent by understanding job descriptions and qualifications
  • Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers, proactively reporting pipeline activity to facilitate effective recruiting and hiring decisions
  • Develop innovative approaches to connect with and captivate diverse demographic groups of potential talent
  • Represent and promote the organization’s culture and opportunities with confidence, positivity and enthusiasm
  • Perform full-cycle recruiting, from sourcing and interviewing to extending job offers
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about recruitment trends and best practices; make recommendations on recruitment strategies
  • Utilize recruitment analytics to provide reports and insights to Director of HR on early career recruitment performance and effectiveness
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 1+ years’ experience in Recruiting, Sales or Marketing
  • Previous ATS, HCM and HRIS systems experience preferred; Oracle Cloud a plus
  • Strong sales and marketing skills with the ability to exceed goals, both independently and in a team environment
  • Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple ongoing tasks and projects
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate with people at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing unmatched customer service
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Social Media platforms
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently; Spanish a plus
