DOE Responsibilities:
Job Purpose:
Subcontract Labor Recruitment targeting contractorswithin the construction industry – Identify, recruit, and on boardnew subcontractor to fulfill needs for U.S. Field Offices. TheSubcontractor Recruiting Representative will work with the ContractLabor Administrative & Shares Services team, reporting to theContract Management Manager to: ? Review district-level subcontractor needs, as identified by theCommodity Managers. ? Utilizing several tools, including Contractor needs &requirements documentation, internet search tools, lists ofexisting/former subcontractors, trade associations, individualState Licensing organizations, etc., the
RECRUITER
will contactappropriate suppliers in each market to identify interest. ? The
RECRUITER
will be provided a script of pertinent questions toqualify the interest, explain the process and needs, advise of somekey terms & conditions in order to ensure there is qualifiedinterest. ? The
RECRUITER
will gather necessary contact information as wellas information regarding skill sets, product certifications,etc. ? The
RECRUITER
will hand-off qualified subs to the CommodityManager to further engage the sub and make the determination if wewill pursue a relationship. ? For all subcontractors identified by the Commodity Manager, the
RECRUITER
will work with the sub to gather the necessary onboardinginformation and will forward such to the team responsible forpreparing/sending contract documents and other program requirements(licensing, insurance, etc.). ? The
RECRUITER
will perform follow-up communication with thosesubs who have been sent onboarding packages to identifyquestions/concerns, encourage rapid completion and return of neededmaterials, etc. ? The
RECRUITER
will provide communication/updates to CommodityManager and field organization. ? Results will be measured according to the number of qualifiedsubcontractors submitted for on boarding and the number ofsubcontractors that are finally on boarded

Problem-solving, analytical skills and the ability to balancemultiple tasks simultaneously are essential. ?Good organizational and interpersonal are required. Attention todetail and mental concentration are necessary for accuratelyperforming tasks and tolerating frequent interruptions. ?A demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective workingrelationships with diverse groups of people. ?In addition, strong interpersonal communication skills, writtenand spoken, are a must.
Minimum Preference Experience:
Prior recruitment search experience,2 – 4 years administrative, sales, phone communication experiencerequired. Associate’s Required, Bachelor’s Preferred.
