As our next Principal Recruiter, you will own full-cycle recruiting for our Operations Business. This is more than sourcing—it’s about driving quality , partnering with Business Leaders, Site leaders , and delivering on business-critical hiring goals . What You’ll Do Own the hiring lifecycle for complex manufacturing roles: site leaders, engineers, factory leaders, supply chain positions, and other hard-to-fill technical roles. Partner directly with site and functional leaders to understand business needs, calibrate on ideal candidates, and influence hiring decisions. Connect with manufacturing organizations and be a true business partner to the team. Source and engage passive candidates via LinkedIn, Boolean search, talent pipelines, and creative outreach strategies—especially in competitive or rural markets. Elevate candidate experience through clear, timely communication and thoughtful process management. Track progress meticulously in our CRM (Phenom) and applicant tracking system (Workday), ensuring compliant, up-to-date data at all stages. Drive process improvements across recruiting operations: metrics reporting, candidate experience, hiring manager training, and internal mobility. What You Bring 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience —deep exposure to manufacturing, operations, engineering, and technical hiring Strong business acumen and the ability to balance speed, precision, and quality Detail orientation and follow-through that builds trust with candidates and hiring teams Confidence and ownership —you influence hiring decisions and guide the process, not just facilitate it Comfort with ambiguity and change—you stay composed, curious, and ready to adjust Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, Phenom, and Workday ATS is a big plus Bachelor’s degree required Who You Are Operationally sharp— you manage pipelines like a project manager Solution-oriented and calm under pressure Respectful and direct communicator with a bias toward action Passionate about building diverse, high-performing teams Known for your reliability, integrity, and follow-through What You’ll Gain The chance to shape the talent foundation of a growing global medical device company Visibility and partnership with senior leaders across Manufacturing, Quality Supply Chain, and Engineering A collaborative, high-performing team environment where quality and outcomes are prioritized Travel
- Up to 20% if located in Tampa Bay.

The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level. The salary range is CONMED’s good faith belief at the time of this posting.
