Job Description
Vaco has an excellent opportunity for a Full-Cycle Talent Acquisition Specialist in Saint Augustine, Florida. This is a direct hire role that begins fully onsite, with some hybrid options after the first 3 months. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for all the administrative work pertaining to the entire talent lifecycle.
Recruitment:
- create and maintain a candidate pipeline for future key role and recurring roles such as mechanical engineer
- manage the recruitment process from benchmarking to posting jobs to reviewing resumes with hiring managers, scheduling phone screens, scheduling onsite interviews, scheduling debrief meetings
- send the initial offer letter and electronic onboarding administrative tasks, background screen, drug test
- update HR, IT and Safety on new hire’s start date
- ensure clear communication so all parties are informed and on the same page for new hire’s first day + swag for new hire
- check in with hiring manager and new hire throughout first 90 days
Development:
- circle back with all employees on their individual development plans every 4-6 months, create development plans for new hires after 90 days
- work with leaders to identify skill gaps and create a training plan to upskill
- implement & manage strategic training & development programs
- work with the hiring managers and Director of People to identify employees for promotion/advancement
Succession Planning:
- identify key roles requiring a succession plan – ongoing as new roles created
- identify potential people as successors & required training
Off-boarding:
- all admin functions related to terminations
- exit interviews
- internal communication as necessary
- update HR, IT and Safety
- retrieving company property
- sending and receiving severance agreements as applicable (not writing them) Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
