Job Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Consultant is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting for positions in a variety of fields including light industrial, aviation, and administrative. Primary duties include recruiting, screening and recommending placement of staff by using creative sourcing methods. The Talent Acquisition Consultant must maintain strong relationships with candidates, and continually develop new relationships with candidates to meet staffing goals and objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Partners with clients, hiring managers, and branch team members to understand needs and requirements of positions. Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with candidates to ensure achievement of staffing goals. Effectively uses and develops job advertisements and/or programs to ensure high visibility of job. Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates. Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone or in person), effectively explain job duties and qualifications, coordinates interviews with hiring manager, administers appropriate assessments and pre-employment screenings (background check, references, drug screen, etc.…), makes recommendations for hire (or not hire), and delivers employment offers. Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, schedules, non-compete agreements). Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process. Manages current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS). Manages application/resume files, onboarding documents and retention of personnel records according to company policy. Manages placement transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, transfer offer letters, etc. Stays current on the company’s and client’s organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices. Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations during the advertisement, screening and selection process. Other duties as assigned based on business needs.

Skills and Qualifications:

Strong recruiting and interviewing skills. Phone, Skype, and online meeting platform skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professionalism, organization, and project management skills. Familiarity with relevant employment laws and standard recruiting etiquettes. Supports workplace diversity. Must be able to effectively management multiple demands, objectives, and deadlines. Customer service oriented.

Education, Experience, Licensing/Certification Requirements:

2+ years exempt and non-exempt recruiting experience in full life-cycle environment. Associate degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred. PHR or SHRM-CP is a plus.

Working Condition:

Generally, work in an office, sedentary and administrative environment. May be exposed to light industrial or warehouse environment while conduct client visits.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard reach. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work. Specific hearing and verbal abilities required for phone use. Regular, predictable attendance is required; including quarter-driven hours as business demands dictate.
