We only accept direct applications from individuals.•The Field Recruiter will play a critical role in scaling our field workforce and promoting a strong culture of craftsmanship and safety. You’ll primarily be responsible for end-to-end recruitment for field roles (80% of the role) —from job ads to onboarding—as well as supporting training and development initiatives, including managing our IEC Apprenticeship Program. This is a hybrid role based out of Jackson, GA with occasional travel to job sites, job fairs, or training facilities as needed. Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Talent Acquisition (Primary Responsibilities – 80%) Own and manage the full cycle recruiting efforts for field roles (e.g., electricians, apprentices, helpers), including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding Develop and post job ads across platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, Greenhouse, and local trade-focused job boards. Organize and attend job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach programs to attract field talent. Build and maintain partnerships with trade schools, workforce development agencies, and veterans’ organizations. Maintain and update candidate pipelines within the Greenhouse ATS. Coordinate with project managers and field leadership to forecast and fill manpower needs for upcoming projects. Training & Workforce Development (Secondary Responsibilities – 20%) Manage the company’s IEC Apprenticeship Program, including enrollment, progress tracking, and coordination with IEC staff. Identify training needs and source external vendors or materials to address gaps in safety, workmanship, and team culture. Facilitate or support new hire onboarding sessions, safety orientations, and field-level development programs. Partner with field supervisors to reinforce company values: safety, trust, and quality. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in recruiting for skilled trades, construction, or MEP roles. Familiarity with labor market conditions, sourcing strategies, and recruiting technologies (e.g., ATS systems like Greenhouse). Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; able to engage both candidates and field leaders. Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities. Experience managing or supporting training/apprenticeship programs is a plus. Why Join Kelso Industries?
