SUMMARY:

The Talent Acquisition Consultant is responsible for attracting, engaging, and hiring a diverse team and addressing critical talent segments needed for continued organizational growth. Utilizing programs and tools designed to build a pipeline of talent for the future and elevate candidate experience throughout the talent acquisition process. Provide support to HRBPs and hiring managers, who provide recruiting support across several regions. Other key responsibilities include motivating and developing relationships with our key demographic, promoting the benefits of the CU. Ensuring a continual pipeline of relevant applicants for active roles and internships.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential duties and responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned. Daily management of an active recruitment pipeline for entry, mid, and management-level positions. Coordinate the new hire pre-boarding and onboarding processes. Take ownership of the recruitment branding strategy, effectively promoting the organization’s values and mission. Submit meticulously crafted job requisitions for approval in Workday, ensuring clarity and alignment with position requirements. Conduct in-depth kick-off meetings with hiring managers to collaboratively define recruitment strategies, gather specific position requirements, update job descriptions, and establish tailored screening and interview methodologies. Partner with hiring managers to update job descriptions, ensuring that candidate requirements are clear. Leverage various channels for candidate engagement, including LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor. Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events. Select and qualify candidates for open positions (full-time, part-time, temporary/contractual, and internships) through local outreach, partnerships with staffing agencies, and tapping into hiring managers’ professional networks. Source and screen candidates, including all referrals, rehires, and internal candidates. Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit. Assist hiring managers during the interviewing stages by scheduling meetings, asking relevant questions, and clarifying responses. Ensure that all candidates receive and complete the Predictive Index assessment prior to their interviews and are correctly coded in the platform, as completion is mandatory for hiring. Maintain proactive and transparent communication with hiring managers, delivering weekly status updates and insights to drive the recruitment process effectively and ensure timely hires. Collaborate strategically with HR Business Partners to streamline the candidate slate process and facilitate internal mobility, ensuring alignment with talent development initiatives. Possess extensive knowledge of Applicant Tracking Software programs (such as Workday Recruiting and Workday HRIS) to mine for candidates, manage the recruitment pipeline, and generate reports from the platform. Offer consultative recruiting services, including research, market intelligence, sourcing, and candidate assessment. Demonstrate skills in sourcing passive candidates and proactively build a pipeline for all open positions. Revisit recruitment strategies at the first signs of encountering challenges in filling positions. Conduct candidate feedback sessions and post-interview communication to capture applicants’ experiences and allow each candidate to provide feedback on the interview process. Provide fact-based assessments of candidates when making recommendations. Utilize strong negotiation skills to successfully close candidates. Partner with the HR Coordinator to ensure that all employment screenings, such as background checks and drug tests, are processed in a timely manner. Track and report key metrics to measure and predict staffing activity and identify process improvements. Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent. Partner closely with hiring managers to gain a deep understanding of their staffing needs, providing informed guidance on recruitment best practices to optimize outcomes. Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, from job posting through offer acceptance, ensuring a streamlined and engaging candidate experience. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS). Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition. Perform other duties as may be assigned.

EDUCATIONAL AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. 4 to 6 years of experience in Human Resources, hiring/recruiting, or related field required. 4+ years of full-lifecycle recruiting managing a high volume of requisitions required. 4+ years of experience working with an Applicant Tracking System required. Workday experience preferred. 4+ years corporate recruiting experience required. Demonstrated ability to source passive and active candidates utilizing a variety of tools. Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Excel reporting (intermediate level)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, the employee must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. All employees must be able to communicate face to face or through technology with or without reasonable accommodation. Employee will be in an office environment (well-lighted, heated, and air-conditioned) typically stationed at a desk or table. Employee will be asked to sit and stand for various increments of time, and to lift/push up 10 lbs. Clerical office duties on various forms of technology are required.
