(GBC) is a multi-state human service agency providing intensive clinical, nursing, residential, and community-based support services to adults with cognitive, intellectual, mental health, and physical disabilities. GBC currently provides residential care in over 80 homes in Maine. Each home is designed to serve the unique needs of the clients who live there. A holistic approach is used by clinical professionals, management, and staff to encourage each to reach their full potential. Granite Bay Care employs over 500 professionals in a dynamic, multi-cultural setting. We currently are the largest residential agency in Maine and are committed to a standard of excellence. We are currently seeking a full-time Recruiter to support full-cycle recruitment and onboarding.
Responsibilities:
Conduct recruitment efforts for exempt/nonexempt positions, internally and externally Conduct candidate screening and interviews, work with hiring managers to understand specific hiring needs and create and extend employment offers for employment Communicate actively and effectively with candidates via phone, text messages, email and in person Accurately complete pre-hire and post-hire paperwork such as background checks and onboarding new hirers including I-9s into the HRIS Maintain employee files electronically Communicate and support the training department with new employee orientation processes Conduct training as needed for new employee orientation Create, update, revise and maintain job descriptions with the support from the Human Resources Director Participate in developing department goals, objectives and systems for tracking candidates Represent GBC at on-going recruitment events such as career fairs Assists and supports other HR related needs
Required Qualifications and Requirements:
Must have High School Diploma or equivalent Must have knowledge of online sourcing and local sourcing techniques Must have valid driver’s license. Must have safe and reliable automobile. Must have active automobile insurance policy Must have strong ethical and moral character. Must have proven time management skills which support productivity and efficiency. Must be reliable and dependable. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must have experience using computers, be comfortable learning and applying new technology, competent in conducting research through internet search engines, etc.
