Job Description
Admissions Recruiter 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars Poplar Bluff, MO 63901 The Admissions Recruiter will work as part of the Enrollment Services team with recruitment efforts, retention efforts, and student life. Additional duties include but not limited to: Represent the college at appropriate community events, college, and career fairs. Make presentations and recruitment visits to provide information to prospective students and other constituents on options and available programs. Serve the needs of high schools, maintaining good communication throughout the school year. Coordinate and organize on-campus recruitment activities, including campus visits, group visits, and special events. Assess the efficiency and effectiveness of prospective student contact, including maintaining weekly and monthly data management. Work with Admissions and Recruitment team to develop a strategic plan based on assessment of prospect student contacts. Clarify student’s educational, career, and life goals. Assist students with appropriate course selection and the development of individualized education plans. Assist new/prospective students of requirements for academic transfer and professional/technical programs. Transporting of materials and significant travel is required with this position. The Admissions Recruiter must have an associate degree; bachelor’s degree preferred. Valid driver’s license is required. Salary range is $14.75 – $16.00 per hour.
