Market, develop, and track community relationships to promote employment and inclusion of individuals served. Develop a minimum of 1 new community site to be used during the assessment process and/ or in the creation of 1 new Training site for our Volunteer/Training program per year. Provide education to employers regarding employment, compensation, and accommodations consumers may require for th em t o b e successfu lly e mplo y ed . Negotiate work

Provid e consumer s with ass i stanc e com p l e t i ng onli n e app l i c a t i o ns, and in p e r s on at p o t e nt i al em p l o y m e n t s i t es if r e q u i r e d . Provide on-the-job support and a s s i s t w i t h j o b t r i a ls a s n e c e s s a r y. Util i ze be h a v i o r ma n ag e m e nt t e chniques to train consumers in appropriate work behaviors and so c i a l s k i l l s w he n needed . Assist in the development of Individual Support Plans for consumers and ensure implementation is in conjunction with appropriate staff and/ or employment personnel. Monitor progress of worker monthly once job supports have faded to ensure job retention as needed. Refer consumers and family members to appropriate community resources when applicable. Maintain on-going verbal and written communication with VR Counselors, family members, and o the r Servic e A genc y Representati v es . Attend consumer staff trainings, and weekly Job Development meetings as scheduled. When available, will use Voca tiona l Evaluation or the Discovery/Exploration R epor t as a g uid e f o r developmental activity. Co m m u n i c a t e w ith V o c a t i o n a l D epartmen t or the Discovery/Exploration staff for additional information and understanding of each client’s individual support needs. Co m p l e t e a l l r eq u ired paperwork and documentation according to agency, funder, and CARF guidelines. Assure compliance and maintain standards as outlined by CARF and appropriate federal, state, and local regulations. Follow all personnel policies & procedures. Maintain a clean and orderly environment. Fa mil i ar i z e s e lf w i th a nd follow fa c ilit y an d dep a rtmen t policie s a n d procedu r es . Experi e nc e supportin g i n d i v i d u a l s w i th d i s a b i l i t i e s i d e a l. E m p l o ym e nt S e r v i ce tr a i n i n g ce r t i f i c a t i on r e q u i r e d as w el l as C P R a n d f i r s t a id t r a i ni n g. (These trainings will be provided upon hire along with required agency trainings).
