As we expand operations in the Charlotte, NC area, we are seeking an energetic, Skilled Trades Recruiter to drive recruitment efforts through a combination of traditional sourcing and proactive community engagement. Position Overview This role is ideal for a motivated recruiter who thrives both behind a desk and out in the field. You will recruit skilled trades professionals—such as electricians, machine operators, and quality control supervisors—while building strategic partnerships with local organizations, trade schools, and workforce development programs. Key Responsibilities Recruit for skilled trade positions including electricians, machine operators, and QC supervisors. Source candidates via online job boards, referrals, social media, and grassroots outreach. Represent Arrow at job fairs, trade schools, hiring events, and community job-readiness programs. Build and maintain partnerships with local community organizations, workforce centers, and educational institutions. Coordinate and host on-site and off-site hiring events in the Charlotte area.
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle:
sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding. Maintain candidate records, pipelines, and performance metrics via ATS and recruitment tools. Qualifications 2+ years of recruiting or staffing experience (skilled trades or manufacturing preferred) Strong experience or interest in community outreach and field-based recruitment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel Proficient in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems (ATS) Excellent organizational and time management skills Familiarity with Charlotte’s workforce development landscape is a plus Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required What You’ll Bring Passion for helping people connect with meaningful employment opportunities Deep understanding of skilled trades and industrial roles Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Experience with proactive sourcing strategies and talent pipeline development A strong sense of initiative and adaptability in dynamic environments
