We are a 365/24/7 service company, providing residential HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical Services throughout North Carolina. •This is an in-office position, remote work is not available• Job Summary Michael and Son Services, Inc. is looking for an Internal Corporate Recruiter with a background in sales and recruitment. This is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package and an opportunity for growth. The Internal Corporate Recruiter is responsible for delivering all facets of full cycle recruiting for the company. This position will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent. Pay will be a base of $45,000 plus commission. First year earnings, including commission, expected between $60,000-65,000.
Essential Job Functions:
Partner with managers throughout the company to gain a solid understanding of business objectives, job requirements and hiring plans in order to develop and implement recruitment strategies for all positions in the company. Crafting job advertisements, posting and participating in the position evaluation process. Use creative and innovative methods to source candidates. Participate in career fairs, industry events and social media avenues. Screen candidates through phone calls to ensure their experience aligns with the position. Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements. Screen and interview applicants and facilitate managerial interviews. See new hires through the full hiring process, from scheduling interviews through their first day of employment. Develop and track metrics associated with the recruiting process and quality of hires. Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the Human Resource files and Applicant Tracking System.
Skills, Abilities, Expertise & Competencies:
Sales aptitude and experience Knowledge of recruitment techniques and methodologies including social media Experience with service company recruiting Creativity and resourcefulness to effectively reach candidates for open positions. Flexible schedule; able to accommodate interviews outside of normal work hours A minimum 2 year track record of recruitment results Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows/Google environment Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Skills in database management and record keeping Ability to travel for recruitment interviews, meetings, college visits and career fairs Think you’re a good fit?
