JOB PURPOSE

In this strategic role, they will lead recruitment efforts to source, vet, and place dentists, hygienists, and dental assistants in short-term and per-diem roles across multiple dental practices and in multiple states. This work directly ensures operational continuity and patient care quality, making you a critical part of our workforce strategy.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- + Lead end-to-end recruitment for temporary and locum tenens dental professionals, including sourcing, screening, credentialing, and processing.
+ Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for rapid deployment in short-notice coverage scenarios. + Develop and manage relationships with dental schools, licensing boards, and professional networks to strengthen candidate sourcing channels. + Coordinate with Doctor Owners and Field Leaders to understand coverage needs and ensure optimal placements. + Ensure all fill-in staff meet licensing, credentialing, and background check requirements in compliance with state and federal regulations. + Maintain accurate candidate and placement data in ATS or CRM systems. + Track fill rates, response times, and candidate satisfaction to improve performance metrics. + Collaborate with HR, compliance, and operations teams to streamline the placement process. + Contribute to strategic workforce planning for high-volume regions or seasons. + Represent the company at job fairs, dental conferences, and recruiting events as needed.
- Qualifications

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
+ Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in healthcare recruiting, staffing agency work, or dental practice management (experience with locum or per-diem staffing preferred). + Deep understanding of dental industry roles, licensing requirements, and labor dynamics. + Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a consultative and client-focused approach. + Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), credentialing software, and workforce scheduling platforms. + Ability to manage high volumes of requisitions while maintaining attention to detail and service quality. + Results-driven with the ability to meet demanding timelines and KPIs.
- Preferred Qualifications
- + Previous experience recruiting in the dental or broader medical field or like specialties. + Certification in recruiting or healthcare staffing (e.g., CSP, SHRM-CP). + Experience working in a hybrid or remote-first staffing environment.
