This pivotal role is responsible for strategically identifying, attracting, onboarding, and support the retention of top-tier real estate advisors who align with our brand’s values of competence, exclusivity, and passion. The successful candidate will be instrumental in expanding our elite team of professionals, fostering a thriving and supportive environment, and ultimately contributing to the sustained growth and market leadership of our New York City, Brownstone Brooklyn and North Fork brokerages.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Recruitment:

Work with Broker/Owner to develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract high-performing, experienced real estate advisors from competitive markets.

Talent Sourcing:

Proactively identify and engage with potential candidates through various channels, including networking, industry events, social media, and direct outreach.

Full Recruitment Lifecycle Management:

Oversee the entire recruitment process from initial contact (in conjunction with a third-party caller) and screening to interviews, offer negotiation, and successful onboarding.

Retention Programs:

Design, implement, and manage innovative retention initiatives that enhance advisor satisfaction, foster loyalty, and minimize attrition.

Culture & Support:

Cultivate a positive, collaborative, and high-performance brokerage culture that supports advisor growth, professional development, and overall well-being.

Onboarding & Training:

Collaborate with V.P. of Operations and Director of Marketing to ensure a seamless and effective onboarding experience for new advisors, including access to proprietary tools, training, marketing support and mentorship.

Performance Monitoring:

Monitor advisor performance, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for additional support or development.

Brand Advocacy:

Act as a passionate ambassador for the Engel & Völkers brand, effectively communicating its unique value proposition, global reach, and luxury market positioning to prospective and current advisors.

Industry Relations:

Build and maintain strong relationships with industry professionals, real estate associations, and educational institutions.

Market Intelligence:

Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and compensation models to ensure our recruitment and retention strategies remain competitive and effective in the dynamic NYC and East End markets. Experience Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus. Proven experience in real estate, real estate sales, or a similar role. Strong leadership and coaching skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Knowledge of industry trends and best practices. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting. Prior experience in a leadership role is highly desirable.
