Ensure that high quality employment procedures are maintained and are in compliance with legislative and Bank policy governing recruitment and selection. Responsibilities The following is a list of essential functions, which may be subject to change at any time and without advance notice. Management may assign new duties, reassign existing duties, or eliminate a function. Develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process.
Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
Use traditional and non-traditional resources to identify, attract, and build a pipeline of quality candidates such as career fairs, online job fairs, community networking events, etc.; Manage relationships with external job sites; Coordinate outreach efforts in conjunction with the Bank’s Affirmative Action Plan.
Collaborate with hiring managers to identify and maintain detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
Coordinate internal job postings on the Bank’s intranet; Manage the internal transfer process.
Screen resumes, interview potential candidates, administer appropriate assessments/screenings, and make recommendations for hire (or not hire).
Schedule interviews; oversee preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
Assist with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
Counsel hiring managers regarding recruiting strategies and practices that support the goals and direction of the Bank.
Collaborate with the hiring manager and/or other human resources Team Members during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, start dates, and other pertinent details.
Communicate appropriately with job candidates to ensure they are updated timely on the search process and hiring decision.
Deliver employment offers (and respond to counter-offers) for new and existing Team Members. Submit status changes as appropriate and in a timely manner.
Collaborate with other Human Resources and Training Team Members to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new and existing Team Members moving into new positions.
Serve as an administrator for Recruiting in the Workday platform. Maintain the system with accurate information, participate in testing and training, and troubleshoot issues as required. Ensure that all appropriate parties are informed of personnel changes.
Keep accurate records of vacancy requests and approvals, offer letters and approvals, and position tracking. Provide updates to management as requested.
Research and recommend best practices to improve the recruitment process at the Bank.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as Bank policies.
Assist with maintenance of the HR Policy and Procedure Manual to ensure that all policies and procedures are current and compliant with relevant regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience required
Minimum 3 years’ experience managing all phases of the recruitment process, including proven success hiring for mid-senior level and/or specialty positions
Minimum 3 years’ HRIS and/or Applicant Tracking System experience
SHRM-CP or
SHRM-SCP
preferred
SHRM Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus Skills and Competencies Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Demonstrated track record of success sourcing diverse candidates through advanced search tactics and strategies
Highly developed interview skills
Highly developed interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles
Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Strong knowledge of Federal and State laws to include Affirmative Action Compliance and other related recruitment and employment regulations
Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software, experience with iCIMS a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
High level of attention to detail Working Conditions Traditional office environment with the ability to work remotely on a hybrid basis; the office maintains five day a week operations (Monday – Friday) with operational hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm. Must be available to work outside of normal business hours on occasion. Moderate travel is required for career fairs and interviews as needed.
