Multi-Location Support Job Summary:
Trainer & Recruiter will support our eight locations in North Carolina and South Carolina. This dual-role position will focus on attracting, hiring, and onboarding top talent while also ensuring comprehensive training and development for our teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
Develop and execute a strategic recruiting plan to attract top talent, including Massage Therapists, Estheticians, Front Desk Associates, and Managers. Actively source candidates through job boards, social media, networking events, career fairs, and industry connections. Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates to ensure they align with Massage Envy’s culture and service standards. Build relationships with local massage therapy and esthetics schools to create a pipeline of potential hires. Work closely with clinic managers to understand staffing needs and develop proactive recruitment strategies. Manage and track applicants using an applicant tracking system (ATS) and provide regular hiring updates to leadership. Coordinate and facilitate hiring events, open houses, and job fairs to attract high-quality candidates. Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring new hires have a seamless transition into their roles.
Training & Development:
Develop, coordinate, and lead training programs for new and existing employees to enhance service quality, guest experience, and operational efficiency. Conduct hands-on, in-person, and virtual training sessions covering customer service, membership sales, retail performance, compliance, and technical skills. Create training manuals, job aids, and video tutorials to support ongoing education and reinforce best practices. Work with leadership to identify skill gaps and implement targeted training to improve team performance. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, introducing new techniques and services to enhance employee knowledge.
Onboarding & Continued Education:
Oversee a structured onboarding process to ensure all new hires receive proper training and support. Provide ongoing mentorship and coaching to employees, ensuring they continue to grow in their roles. Partner with vendors, product representatives, and industry professionals to offer continuing education opportunities. Conduct refresher training for employees to reinforce company standards and compliance requirements.
Operational Support & Performance Monitoring:
Collaborate with clinic managers and leadership to assess team performance and identify areas for improvement. Conduct regular evaluations and training audits at each location to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. Develop performance benchmarks and track training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Assist managers in creating individual development plans for employees needing additional coaching. Support high-volume periods by providing on-the-ground training and recruitment assistance when needed.
Work Environment & Schedule:
Frequent travel between North Carolina and South Carolina locations. Flexible work schedule, including some evenings and weekends, based on hiring events and business needs. Combination of on-site training, virtual training, recruitment outreach, and hiring events
