Recruiter 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Knoxville, TN 37932 Position Summary The Medical Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and placing qualified healthcare professionals in roles within hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, and other medical organizations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of healthcare industry requirements and a passion for matching top talent with rewarding career opportunities. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans to attract healthcare professionals including nurses, physicians, allied health professionals, and administrative staff. Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and other innovative channels. Screen and interview candidates to assess qualifications, experience, and fit for specific roles. Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process. Partner with hiring managers and clients to understand staffing needs and job requirements. Coordinate interviews, provide feedback, and manage offers and negotiations. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational policies regarding hiring practices. Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS). Attend job fairs, industry events, and networking opportunities to build talent pipelines. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). 2+ years of experience in healthcare recruiting or staffing. Knowledge of healthcare industry roles, certifications, and compliance requirements. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple searches and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with ATS and recruitment tools. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Certified Healthcare Recruiter (CHCR) credential is a plus.
