Non-Exempt Reports To CHRO Position Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding top talent to meet the evolving needs of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a passion for recruitment, a strong understanding of the full cycle hiring process, and the ability to build strong relationships with both candidates and hiring managers.

Primary Responsibilities:

Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop effective recruitment strategies, and make recommendations to hiring managers regarding candidates. Create and post job descriptions that attract qualified candidates. Source candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals. Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, schedule interviews with hiring teams, conduct background checks and reference checks, and coordinate drug screenings. Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure accurate and timely documentation. Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. Track and report key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, source of hire, turn-over). Stay current on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition. Coordinate and manage the offboarding process for departing employees, including conducting exit interviews, coordinating the return of company property, revoking system access, and ensuring timely processing of final pay and benefits in compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Attending career fairs and other networking events as requested. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, ideally within the healthcare industry. Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems; familiarity with Dayforce a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies.

Ability to proactively identify, attract, and engage top talent through various channels, including social media, job boards, and networking events. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners. Comfortable navigating changing priorities, solving hiring challenges, and adapting to evolving business needs. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable under pressure. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies.

Working Conditions:

Work is primarily performed in an office environment and involves frequent telephone and in-person communication. The role requires regular interaction with others, often in a fast-paced and interruptive setting. Physical activities may include walking, bending, reaching, lifting up to 20 pounds, stooping, and prolonged periods of sitting. Occasional exposure to stress may occur due to multiple, competing responsibilities.
