This position is in-person or remote with periodic office visits to build relationships with the team. Purpose of Job We’re seeking a highly motivated and organized Part-Time Recruiter to join our Human Resources team. In this pivotal role, you’ll be instrumental in sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews for critical mid-level to senior accounting positions. Job Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand specific staffing needs for mid-level and senior accounting roles. Develop and execute targeted recruitment strategies to attract experienced accounting professionals. Source qualified candidates using advanced search techniques across various channels, including professional networking sites (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter), industry-specific platforms, and our existing network. Conduct in-depth phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications, cultural fit, and long-term career aspirations for senior roles. Manage the full interview lifecycle, from initial outreach to offer coordination, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Proactively build and nurture a pipeline of experienced accounting professionals for future openings. Provide market insights and recruitment best practices to hiring managers. Represent the firm professionally at targeted networking events or career fairs, if needed. Requirements and Qualifications Proven experience in recruiting for mid-level to senior professional roles, with a strong preference for experience within an accounting firm or the financial services industry. In-depth understanding of various accounting roles, certifications (CPA, etc.), and industry nuances. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to engage confidently with senior professionals. Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail, especially when managing multiple high-priority searches. Proficient in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and advanced sourcing tools. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to work independently, manage a pipeline effectively, and prioritize competing demands. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Hours and Work Arrangement Approximately 20 -25 hours per week . This position offers flexibility for a remote work arrangement , with the expectation of periodic in-person visits to o ur Middle TN locations . These visits are crucial for fostering strong team connections, understanding our firm culture, and collaborating directly with hiring managers.
