The Human Resource Manager/Recruiter will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of HR operations, with a strong emphasis on recruiting top legal talent including attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff. This role requires someone who is people-focused, organized, and experienced in the legal industry or a similarly structured professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Staffing:
Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract and retain top-tier legal and support talent.
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process:
job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviews, reference checks, and offers. Maintain relationships with legal recruiting platforms, law schools, and staffing agencies. Ensure a smooth onboarding process for all new hires.
HR Management:
Oversee and manage the day-to-day HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, and compliance. Maintain and update employee records and HR systems. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with legal industry standards and firm culture. Administer benefits, payroll coordination, and leave management in collaboration with accounting/finance.
Culture & Employee Engagement:
Foster a positive, inclusive, and professional workplace culture. Organize training, team-building, and professional development opportunities. Provide guidance and support to firm leadership on HR-related issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (HR certification a plus). Minimum 3-5 years of HR and recruitment experience, preferably in a legal or professional services environment. Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency with HRIS and applicant tracking systems (ATS). Experience recruiting for legal positions highly preferred. Why Join Us?
