Human Resource Manager/Recruiting Iron Valley Supply Birmingham, AL 35211

Job Summary:

As the Human Resources Manager- Recruiting at Iron Valley Supply, you will oversee and implement key human resources strategies, ensuring compliance and alignment with our organizational goals. Human Resources Manager- Recruiting will be responsible for building and scaling a high-performing recruiting function that delivers exceptional talent. As well as. develop and implement strategic recruiting initiatives aligned with Iron Valley’s growth. This position will report to the President.

Responsibilities:
    Strategic Talent Acquisition:

    Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top-tier talent, ensuring alignment with company goals and culture.

      Market Brand:

      Develop employer branding strategies and enhance internal and external talent attraction.

        Sustainable Growth:

        Design and optimize recruiting processes and programs, applicant tracking system, and management reporting to help build an ongoing, healthy pipeline of qualified candidates.

          Seamless Onboarding:

          Lead and refine the onboarding process to foster positive first impressions and ensure new hires are equipped for success.

            Training and Development:

            Oversee training programs aimed at career development and skill enhancement, supporting employees in achieving their professional goals.

              Compliance and Policy Management:

              Monitor and ensure adherence to labor laws, industry regulations, and internal company policies, making timely updates to HR procedures and employee handbooks.

                Competitive Advantage:

                Lead market analysis and compensation benchmarking efforts while guiding hiring managers through compensation decisions to ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and compliance with pay equity laws

                  HR Reporting:

                  Create detailed HR reports and dashboards for senior management, providing actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making.

                  • Performs other duties as assigned.
                  Qualifications:
                  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
                  • 5+ years of experience in human resources, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
                  • Comprehensive knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
                  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
                  • Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite.
                  Physical Requirements:
                  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
                  • Must be able to complete warehouse walk-throughs as needed.
                  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally.
                  • Must be able to travel as needed.
