Position Overview:

Compass Restoration Group seeks a strategic and results-oriented Talent Acquisition Manager to lead our comprehensive talent initiatives across the entire portfolio. Reporting directly to the VP, People and Culture, this critical role will own and drive the full life cycle recruiting process, design and implement effective onboarding programs, contribute to career development frameworks, and oversee training initiatives. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader passionate about building high-performing teams and shaping a positive employee experience from candidacy through ongoing development.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates for diverse roles across all portfolio companies.

Manage the end-to-end recruitment process:

job posting creation, candidate screening, interviewing, coordinating hiring manager interviews, reference checks, offer negotiation, and background checks. Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs. Partner closely with hiring managers and leadership within each portfolio company to understand specific talent requirements and team dynamics. Champion employer branding initiatives to position Compass Restoration Group and its portfolio companies as employers of choice. Utilize and optimize Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other recruitment tools. Track and report on key recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, diversity metrics).

Onboarding:

Design, implement, and manage a comprehensive and engaging onboarding program for new hires across all portfolio companies, ensuring consistency while allowing for company-specific nuances. Collaborate with HR, IT, and hiring managers to ensure a smooth and welcoming Day 1 and Week 1 experience. Continuously evaluate and improve the onboarding process based on feedback and best practices.

Career Development:

Partner with the VP, People and Culture and business leaders to support the creation and implementation of career development pathways and programs. Assist in identifying skill gaps and development opportunities within the workforce. Contribute to performance management processes as they relate to career growth and talent planning.

Training & Development:

Identify training needs across the portfolio in collaboration with leadership. Oversee the coordination, development, or sourcing of relevant training programs (e.g., compliance, leadership, technical skills). Track training participation and effectiveness.

Strategy & Compliance:

Contribute to the overall talent strategy for Compass Restoration Group. Ensure all recruitment and onboarding practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies or vendors as needed. Stay current on talent acquisition trends, tools, and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in full life cycle talent acquisition. Proven experience managing recruitment processes across multiple business units, subsidiaries, or in a portfolio company environment. Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing onboarding programs. Exposure to or direct experience with career development frameworks and training coordination/oversight. Strong understanding of employment laws and compliance requirements. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Proven ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in HR or related field. SHRM-CP/SCP or

PHR/SPHR

certification. Experience within the restoration, construction, or related field services industries. Experience designing and delivering training content. Experience with specific
