Job Description
Training Manager 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars West Hartford, CT 06107 The responsibility of the Training Manager is to educate and develop financial representatives who are in their first five years of service. This involves working for network office leadership to implement existing training and development programs, support and facilitate multiple levels of training for financial representatives, and promote the growth and development of individual representatives and teams.
Responsibilities:
Guide candidates through the training requirements of the contracting process.
Facilitate Basics Day:
schedule additional facilitators, prepare materials for facilitators and students. Report on results to leadership, resolve technology issues for candidates, and follow up on all candidate issues. Update and implement and update the annual training calendar for the network and district offices. Proactively communicate calendar to leadership, facilitators, and support staff. Facilitate Fastrack Sales School, Fastrack Forward, Weekly and Monthly Client Builder, Network Office Days, and other office training programs: assign and monitor pre-work, assign and prepare individual faculty members, attend and oversee all scheduled training, facilitate training as needed, monitor scheduled phoning times and field days, coordinate assignment of homework, homework debriefs, office standards and expectations. Serve as guidance counselor for learning paths. Partner with leadership and other mentors to monitor individuals’ overall progress and results by monitor metrics and measurement of productivity goals. Disseminate continuing education programs and components, communicate to financial representatives, support progress, and celebrate achievements. Partner with other office managers and individuals to share best practices and progress on individual representatives. Strive to streamline processes and practices, and proactively problem solve training issues as an overall component of office best practices. Participate in DOT community for personal development. Supervise the Training Coordinator as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in adult education or business administration. Two- to four-years of experience developing and facilitating training programs. Two- to three-years of financial services industry experience required. Instructional design experience and superior presentation skills. Work effectively with people at all levels and build strong relationships. Effectively manage time to address multiple priorities. Strong analytical skills, detail oriented, and ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Certified Master Trainer designation recommended within first six-to-twelve months.

$80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
