Director of Training & DevelopmentPosition Summary:
The Directorof Training & Development for Palm Health Resources will beresponsible for designing, implementing, and overseeingcomprehensive training programs that enhance employee skills,promote career development, and support the organization’sstrategic goals. This role requires a strong leader with a deepunderstanding of adult learning principles, instructional design,and organizational development. The ideal candidate will ensurethat all training initiatives align with business objectives,foster a culture of continuous learning, and drive overallorganizational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Leadership Develop and implement a company-wide training and developmentstrategy aligned with organizational goals. Identify learning needs through assessments, feedback, andcollaboration with leadership. Set measurable objectives and track the effectiveness oftraining programs. Sit in on candidate interviews. Program Design & Delivery Oversee, update and continuously implement innovative trainingmaterials using various formats (e.g., Updating Trainual,In-person, e-learning, workshops). Create Training Schedule for New Hires. Ensure content aligns with best practices in adult learning andis accessible to diverse audiences. Partner with subject matter experts to deliver targetedtraining. Leadership Development Design and implement leadership development programs to build apipeline of future leaders. Provide continuous coaching and mentoring to recruiters. Performance Management Support the development and implementation of performanceappraisal systems. Align training initiatives with employee performance goals andcareer development plans. Team Management Report out to CEO & Sales Ops Mgr on recruiters performance ona weekly basis. Sit in on 1:1’s with Sales Ops Mgr. Allocate resources effectively to ensure the successfulexecution of programs. Budget Management Develop and manage the training and development budget. Evaluate the cost-effectiveness of training programs andrecommend improvements. Compliance & Reporting Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, andcompany policies. Provide regular reports to senior management on trainingoutcomes and ROI.
