MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Human Resources or closely related field. Eight years of full-time, progressively responsible and effective leadership in human resources, organizational development or educational leadership, with at least three years in a supervisory or leadership role. Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience, and/or certifications may be considered. Demonstrated experience designing and implementing training, development, or employee engagement programs. Valid Florida driver license.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree from an accredited institution in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Educational Leadership, Business Administration or closely related field. Industry certification in organizational development, talent management, or human resources (e.g.
SHRM-CP, SPHR
). Experience in a K-12 public education setting. Relevant work experience or education may be substituted to satisfy minimum qualification s.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive organizational development strategies and retention initiatives. Design and oversee leadership development programs, succession planning, performance management, talent management, and career pathing frameworks for all employee groups. Analyze workforce data and trends to identify areas of improvement in employee engagement, retention, and professional development. Manage district-wide employee engagement surveys, focus groups, and stay/exit interviews to inform retention efforts. Develop and facilitate coaching, mentoring, and onboarding programs to support staff development and early career success. Serve as a strategic advisor to district leadership on organizational change and culture development. Supervise and mentor staff assigned to organizational development and employee retention functions. Maintain current knowledge of best practices in organizational development, change management, and talent retention. Prepare and present reports, proposals, and recommendations to senior leadership and the School Board as needed. Perform any job-related duties as assigned. Compensation starts at $107,018.40 8 hours, 255 days/year. Compensation may increase based upon relevant education and experience.
