We’re seeking a Managing Director to lead the team at our Tallahassee, FL location. Job Summary The Managing Director will oversee the daily operations, strategic planning, and financial performance of the organization’s local workforce programs. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery, compliance with funding agency requirements, and the development of strong partnerships within the community. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of strategic goals and operational plans Manage the program budget and ensure responsible use of funding Oversee performance metrics and drive continuous improvement Lead, mentor, and support a high-performing management team Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal workforce regulations Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including community partners and government agencies Promote a culture of service excellence, accountability, and innovation Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required ; Master’s degree preferred 5+ years of experience in workforce development or a related field 5+ years in a senior leadership or executive role Strong knowledge of workforce/economic development, project management, and labor market trends Budgeting and strategic planning experience Strong interpersonal and communication skills Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required Work Environment Primarily office-based with occasional travel Requires typical physical effort (sitting, standing, walking, occasional lifting up to 10 lbs.)
