Under the supervision and direction of the Human Resources Manager,the Training and Development Manager is responsible for serving asan internal business consultant with shipboard management byleading, managing, and supporting the non-technical shipboardtraining and development functions onboard the ship; includingconducting training needs analysis; providing personal developmentplanning and coaching; providing ongoing support and administrationfor the shipboard training function; and delivering instructor-ledtraining. This position serves as a coach, mentor, consultant andambassador of the Pullmantur Brand.

  • Facilitate a culture of commitment to the company?s values,standards, operating philosophies and overall business strategy
  • Provide professional consultation in an effort to maintain thequality, effectiveness and consistency of training and developmentprograms
  • Support the Human Resources Division in aspects of crewactivities and administration
  • Conduct training and development needs assessments to identifyperformance gaps and implement training solutions to maximizeperformance in consideration of crew surveys and feedback
  • Support and coach supervisors and managers in the facilitation ofon-the-job and non-technical skills training including computerbased classroom learning sessions
  • Support and ensure the update and the maintenance of trainingrecords tracking database to ensure compliance with company andregulatory training requirements
  • Work closely with Human Resource Manager in support of YGWP (YouGrow With Pullmantur) process, succession planning, career pathsand tracking toward the development of employees for promotionalopportunities
