The role you will contribute:
The Manager Experience Learning Design manages training development and delivery for consumer experience activations across AdventHealth. The Manager engages in all learning and education planning, development and deployment for consumer experience delivery activations, working closely with his/her Director and market leaders. This role also manages and evolves the evidence-based design and implementation of all standard education that is leveraged throughout AdventHealth to drive exceptional experience of care in all patient settings, partnered closely with operational and clinical leaders. Leveraging expertise in adult learning and effective simulation techniques, the Manager develops or organizes the development of all training or train the trainer content delivered by the consumer experience delivery team, ensuring that it is appropriate for the designated audience. The Manager ensures state of the art approach to education, regularly assesses effectiveness of training, and reports effectiveness and impact to senior leadership. The Manager ensures the development of content appropriate for team members, leadership or consumers, depending on a given project focus. The Manager ensures that learning development content is in sync with all guidelines established for experience delivery education, and any guidelines developed at an AdventHealth level via dynamic learning community governance. This role collaborates closely with learning design and training teams in other areas to identify opportunity for synergy, resources for actual training delivery, and models for training, either train-the-trainer or direct.

Working with Director, engages in training/education strategy development for new initiatives.
Develops and manages to educational goals that are congruent with the organization and our mission, vision, values and service standards, as well as the strategic direction of consumer experience delivery.
Executes and ensures that appropriate training is delivered to markets on schedule. Works closely with Director and other experience delivery colleagues to integrate training plan into overall activation workplans.
Manages and/or participates in train the trainer or direct training efforts in our markets.
Establishes mechanisms to assess effectiveness of training, providing feedback to leadership, and incorporating learnings into future approach.
Works collaboratively with consumer experience solutioning and delivery colleagues to identify learning needs and provide learning opportunities to facilitate change and performance improvement.
Understands training resources in other areas, and partners effectively with leaders of those areas to best design training deployments, leveraging resources in a cost effective and impactful manner.
Keeps abreast of new approaches to immersive learning/education for AdventHealth. Determines best methods for deploying training to markets including train the trainer models, or direct training using various media…effectively leveraging these methods.
Engages in new acquisition and ventures start-up, ensuring that appropriate consumer experience learning/cultural content reaches new organizations.
Cultivates strong partnerships with Corporate Services functions that are instrumental to exceptional training deployments, including Creative Services and Communications.
Contributes to the Experience Leaders Networking Forum, providing a robust capability for best practice sharing across AdventHealth. Provides learning development opportunities for market Experience Leaders.
Contributes, from an educational standpoint, to Experience of Care Roundtables for clinical/operational/experience leaders focused on best practice networking in key patient settings, such as inpatient, ED, ambulatory surgery and medical practice.
Working closely with experience delivery colleagues and HR, contributes educational expertise to efforts surrounding The Whole Care Experience.
Governs system-wide patient experience education, to ensure congruent with evidence-based/best practice standards. Tracks and maintains inventory of patient experience system education modules. Evolves modules as needed. Partners with clinical leaders in new nurse and new nurse leader onboarding programming to ensure that patient experience education is a standard up-to-date component across all markets.
