  • YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • This Creve Coeur, MO based position will create business value through a highly skilled and engaged AMPAC Commercial organization by assessing competency gaps, identifying training needs / priorities, and building the capability strategy inclusive of curriculum and delivery forums/platforms.

Also, you will lead complementary strategy and execution for Go-To-Market partners across the AMPAC region to strengthen loyalty within our distribution channels and ensure a market leading grower experience with Seminis and DeRuiter products. The primary responsibilities of this role, AmPac Capability Building, are to: + Be accountable for developing capability building and functional competency upskilling strategy aligned to regional objectives and business goals in collaboration with Commercial Enablement peers, Customer-Facing units, AMPAC leadership, Finance, Functional Communities, and capability colleagues throughout the business; + Create high impact development and training approaches, curriculum, and methods including virtual training series, development programs, podcasts, functional communities, mentorship programs, videos, and materials enhancing the subject matter expertise of our organization; + Centralize training and development resources to drive upskilling of commercial organization, including regional SharePoint Training and Development governance; + Establish and deploy train the trainer programs to enable capability building and training at all levels of the organization; + Collaborates with Commercial lead, Unit Leads to ensure capability building efforts are translated to day-to-day coaching; + Accountable for developing and tracking KPIs to measure the impact of capability building and training efforts; + Be responsible for deploying capability building methods to help our Go-to-Market partners deliver the right customer experience, service levels, and customer engagement touchpoints to maximize the impact of grower interactions, improve partner loyalty, and positively impact profitability.

  • Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree; + Fluent in English; + Proven track record in Commercial operations and delivering on customer facing projects/initiatives; + Capacity to collaborate and influence across functions and all levels of organization; + Proven ability to manage complexity, set priorities, coordinate cross functionally, and drive results; + Strong ability to strategize on short- and long-term balancing regional alignment with local customization; + Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills; + Growth mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Ag or Science; + Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant Ag, Business, Sales, Marketing, MD roles; + Experience in direct customer facing roles (sales, MD, customer service) highly preferred; + Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
