Our Team:
  • As a Milwaukee Tool Training Supervisor, you must have outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

A training Supervisor will lead a team of Hourly Trainers and effectively manage the day-to-day operations and activities of training programs. To ensure success, training supervisors should understand the Milwaukee Tool business, local operations, and decision-making processes. They should also be keen on producing targeted and tangible results by creating an effective and efficient workforce. The top candidates will be innovative, strong decision-makers, and outstanding facilitators of learning.

through these duties and responsibilities:

  • + • Soliciting feedback from all relevant stakeholders related to performance and incorporating feedback into the talent training program accordingly + • Manage the trainer positions to deliver production-enhancing programs for all distribution functions + • Work with the Training Program Manager to ensure appropriate staffing levels + • Coach and develop trainers for future roles to create a pipeline of future leaders to replace promoted members of the team + • Sets schedules according to workload + • Serves as a backup in the absence of the Training Program Manager + • Fosters a high degree of morale among direct reports, including providing feedback, coaching, recognition, and rewards + • Conducts or delegates shift start-up meetings; communicates information related to culture, safety, training initiatives, and facility/HR updates to keep team members informed + • Leads the performance review process and enters ratings in Workday + • Provides timely, ongoing communication, ensuring the effective communication of information to trainers and the Training Program Manager + • Responsible for creating overall shift schedules and serving as backup for the Talent Training Program Manager + • Final payroll approver in Kronos + • Develop all trainers to become a valuable part of the team to ensure their skills meet the expectations of the organization + • Leveraging internal and external resources to focus on continuous development as a leader in Training + • Recommends employee corrective actions, including recommendations for termination + • Lead, develop, and facilitate a world-class team of trainers + • Identify and develop innovative ways of approaching problems, opportunities, tasks, and strategies that support the mission of the OBDC Training Team + • Identify opportunities through learner feedback, team feedback, and operational performance metrics and propose potential solutions •The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:•+ • Unwavering focus on safety, training, and development + • 2 + years of supervisory experience in a distribution center + • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills + • Leadership experience and potential for future growth, ability to coach on performance issues, and discipline as necessary + • Results-focused, takes ownership of team success + • Strategically minded, able to assess team’s needs and delegate effectively to exceed objectives + • Ability to delegate and manage the team successfully around multiple projects and priorities + • Ability to problem-solve quickly and execute solutions effectively + • Has a development mindset, develops team for growth, and is coachable.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, and SharePoint
  • Other TOOLS, we prefer you to have:
  • + • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, education, or another related field or equivalent experience in related fields.

  • Experience in adult learning within an industrial work environment +
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements for power industrial truck training +
  • Knowledge of TWI (Training Within Industry)
