About Carolina Velocity FC:

Carolina Velocity FC is dedicated to developing young soccer talent and fostering a love for the game. Our club is committed to providing a positive and challenging environment where players can grow both on and off the field. We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate individual for our Youth Coaching Role. Position Overview Carolina Velocity FC is seeking an energetic and dynamic Youth Coach to support our overall club’s development. The role will be responsible for supporting player development and program management for our youth teams. This role is critical in shaping the future of our club by ensuring that all of our players receive the highest level of training and support.

Key Responsibilities:
Program Development:

Support in the design, implementation, and overseeing Carolina Velocity FC curriculum, ensuring alignment with the club’s overall philosophy and long-term player development goals.

Coaching Leadership:

Support, mentor, and develop coaches, ensuring they deliver consistent, high-quality training sessions in accordance with the club’s philosophy.

Player Development:

Monitor and assess player progress, providing feedback and guidance to help each player reach their potential.

Team Management:

Oversee team formation, training schedules, and game preparation for all teams coaching.

Parent Engagement:

Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on player development, team progress, and upcoming events.

Administration:

Manage administrative tasks related to teams, including scheduling, reporting and any additional requirements set by Director of Soccer.

Qualifications:
Experience:

Coaching experience, with a strong background in youth soccer and player development.

Licensing:
UEFA/USSF

‘B’ License, or equivalent certification.

Leadership:

Proven track record of managing and developing teams.

Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with players, parents, and staff.

Organizational Skills:

Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with experience managing multiple teams and projects simultaneously.

Passion:

A deep commitment to youth soccer and the development of young players.

Job Type Requirements:

Competitive Salary within Raleigh, North Carolina. The traditional work hours for this job are combined with office hours during the day/week along with evening and weekend hours on the field and at remote sites
