- $200k Theoverall purpose of this position is to provide oversight for theLearning & Development team for this global organization!
Responsibilities include: Develops the annual strategic plan andimplements same for L&D Oversees and participates in thedesign, development and delivery of staff training programs withLearning & Development team. Delivers a broad range of programsglobally. Develops and oversees testing and evaluation standardsfor company owned courses Ensures external vendor courses areproperly evaluated. Evaluates training effectiveness Assesses andcommunicates ROI on training programs. Researches trainingmaterials and vendors Negotiates purchase of training programs,materials, and services. Created cost analysis to maximize qualitytraining for minimum cost per student. Must be able to analyzevarious data, draw conclusions, identify trends and report resultsto senior management. Oversees evaluation, implementation, testingand maintenance of the Learning Management system and other systemsused to support the function. Leads processes for assessment andsolution development for individual, group or organizationalprograms through observation, request, research and data review,etc. Designs and implements the bi-annual engagement or employeeexperience survey. Generate and analyze reports. Recommendsstrategy for individual, leadership, group and organizationalperformance management and talent development. Develops and managesthe L&D Budget, monitors expenditures throughout the year.
Designs, manages and oversees the multi-partner onboarding programwith a blended learning solution including: Instruction Ledtraining, eLearning and webinars.
Requirements include:
Degree inHR or equivalent experience 7 years’ experience professional ormanagerial level business experience in Learning & Development andstaff management experience
Required:
360 Assessment, DISC, ManagerCoaching experience. Must be a Certified Designer and Developer.
Must have experience developing and driving an L&D strategyMust have excellent oral and written communication skills. Able topresent to groups ranging in size from 5
- 100 people; Thisposition will also regularly facilitate small and large grouptraining classes (primarily soft skills courses).
Ability toprovide coaching and constructive feedback is also essential, bothin the classroom and in one-on-one situations Negotiating skillsare needed in working with vendors for purchasing of training Musthave a high level of professionalism and political savvy wheninteracting with senior leadership concerning strategicmatters/business objectives Conceptual knowledge of databasesystems; Advanced level proficiency in MS Word, Excel andPowerPoint; Experience in Visio and MS project would also behelpful Operational experience with HRIS and LMS is requiredKnowledge of adult learning theory concepts and principles isnecessary
Required:
