What You’ll Do As a Training Manager, you will focus on onboarding, training, and developing event staff to ensure seamless and memorable events. You will lead training sessions, support staff development, and attend events as a Lead to coach and ensure event success.

Gain valuable experience in training and event management. Responsibilities1. Onboarding and Training Schedule and lead orientation and training sessions for new event staff. Develop training materials and guides to ensure staff is well-prepared for events. Monitor and evaluate the progress of trainees, providing feedback and support for improvement. Share all team feedback with the supervisor who will follow up with event staff as needed to address any issues or concerns. 2. Staff Development Identify opportunities for skill development. Provide proactive support and guidance to event staff, ensuring they have the resources and training needed to excel in their roles. Use reference sheets and on-the-job coaching to guide team members during events. Maintain a positive and supportive training environment that encourages growth. Enter all relevant notes in the Team Overview and share updates at weekly all-team meetings. 3. Event Leadership Attend events as Lead to support, mentor, and ensure the team delivers high-quality service. Act as a point of contact for staff during events, troubleshooting issues and providing guidance. 4. Scheduling and Coordination Schedule orientations and trainings. Collaborate with the Event Operations Manager to get new staff on upcoming events. Collaborate with the Event Operations Manager and Operations Manager to schedule yourself for on-site training as needed. Ensure training sessions are effectively scheduled and communicated. 5. Communication and Reporting Track and document training progress. Provide updates during weekly operations and all-team meetings. Share training outcomes and staff updates with the broader team. Works well in an environment of high change and has the capacity for transmitting diverse, complex, and changing information. 6. Process Improvement Continuously refine and enhance training methods to align with company goals. Implement ideas to evaluate the effectiveness of existing trainings Implement ideas to improve training delivery, such as photo or video documentation for reference. 7. Strategy & Integrity Ability to work with multiple decision makers to support various business needs with high integrity and commitment to client and attendee satisfaction. Qualifications Previous experience in training required; event coordination or a related role preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable leading groups and providing constructive feedback. Proficient in or willing to learn project management tools such as or Asana. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
Benefits Compensation :
Compensation ranges between $50,000-$60,000 per year based upon experience.
Paid Time Off :
