Training Facilitator 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars 271 Mason Road, La Vergne, TN 37086 Position Summary The Training Facilitator is responsible for delivering engaging and effective training programs to enhance the knowledge, skills, and performance of employees. This role focuses on facilitating training sessions on material handling, ESD, quality, and proper assembly. When not facilitating training sessions, the Training Facilitator is responsible for auditing and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs, ensuring compliance with organizational expectations. Essential Functions Facilitate in-person training sessions for hourly employees, covering topics such as material handling, ESD, quality control, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with L&D Manager to assess training needs and assist in the development of customized training materials that meet specific operational requirements. Conduct on-the-job training (OJT) for new hires, ensuring a smooth onboarding process and adherence to operational protocols. Utilizing LMS, maintain up-to-date training records, track employee progress, and ensure all mandatory training requirements are met in a timely manner. Audit the effectiveness of training programs by conducting regular evaluations, gathering feedback from participants, and adjusting content as needed to improve outcomes. Monitor compliance with company policies and regulatory standards through training audits and process reviews. Provide coaching and ongoing support to employees to reinforce learning and ensure correct application of new skills and knowledge. Assist in the continuous improvement of training materials and programs, incorporating feedback and best practices to enhance learning experiences. Complete other duties as assigned. Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalency, or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Minimum one year of technical experience in relevant subject matter, including hands-on technical training and soft skills development. Other Skills and Abilities Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences in both group and individual settings. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and exposure to Learning Management Systems (LMS). Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously. Analytical mindset with the ability to assess training effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations for improvements. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Bilingual proficiency heavily preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds as needed for training demonstrations or equipment setup. Ability to distinguish between colors. Ability to bend, stoop, stand/sit for prolonged periods. Ability to move about and between five (5) production and warehouse facilities. Ability to tolerate regular exposure to manufacturing and warehouse environments, including noise, machinery, and fluctuating temperatures, which may require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
