POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Technical Training Coordinator to organize, plan and execute training sessions for all of our employees. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the education and preparation of our staff from Operators, Technicians and Engineers to Department Managers. We’re looking for an ambitious, organized and highly efficient expert with manufacturing experience. We offer a generouspensation structure and team-oriented environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensuring strategic alignment of the training department with business goals
On-board new hires and assign them to training sessions
Tracking training progress of the employees
Identifying training needs by consulting with stakeholders and using needs assessments
Assess employees’ skills, talents, performance and productivity and prepare written evaluations with advice for improvement
Developing and delivering training solutions that meet business needs
Planning and coordinating internal, external trainers as well as vendors to achieve the training plan
Coordinate training with the central department
Using the training tools provided by the central departments, such as e-learning platform
Certify or retrain veteran employees as needed or required
Developing customized leadership program for the supervisors and managers
Identify future training needs
Communicate with team members and management to ensure all needs are met

REQUIREMENTS

(including educational requirements)
Bachelor of Science degree
5+ years’ experience in the manufacturer industry
2-3 years’ experience in training
Certified Professional in Training Management (CPTM™), is preferred
Experience designing and implementing curricula, is preferred
Experience developing yearly training plans and materials for all departments throughout thepany
Excellent team-building, planning and leadership skills
Ability tomunicate effectively with senior management and other departments
Strong understanding of business goals and standards for customer service
Proficient using Microsoft Suite
SAP experience, is preferred
Experience working in an international environment, is preferred
Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
Experience working with AIDT (Alabama Industrial Development Training) required
