Job Overview :
Automation Robotics and Controls (ARC) is seeking results-driven and strategic Business Development Professional to support the continued growth of our organization. This role plays a critical part in identifying new business opportunities, cultivating long-term client relationships, and contributing to overall sales and growth strategy of the company. The ideal candidate will have strong technical acumen and a proven track record in solution-based sales within the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities across target markets and sectors. Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions aligned with customer needs and ARC’s capabilities. Represent ARC at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to promote services and expand market reach. Conduct ongoing market and competitor analysis to support strategic planning and positioning. Monitor and evaluate contract performance to ensure customer expectations are met post-sale. Share insights and data-driven recommendations to enhance internal processes and overall performance. Track and report sales metrics, pipeline activity, and forecasts to senior leadership.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics), Industrial Technology, or a related field (preferred). 3-5 years of progressive experience in business development, technical sales, or account management, preferably within industrial automation. Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets, expanding market presence, and contributing to sustained revenue growth. Strong understanding of solution-based sales and experience with complex technical products or systems. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders and decision-makers. Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans while effectively managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage a high volume of concurrent opportunities. Familiarity with industrial automation, robotics, PLCs, or control systems is a strong plus.

Full-time Pay:
$60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
