Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Training Specialist for our Operations and Claims Department to design, implement, and lead impactful training programs. In this critical role, you’ll be responsible for building and delivering a comprehensive training curriculum, ensuring teams are equipped with the tools, knowledge, and support to handle their work product accurately, efficiently, and empathetically. What You’ll Do Design department-specific training programs for claims, policy services, and underwriting teams covering technical skills, regulatory compliance, customer interaction, and systems proficiency. Develop structured training curricula, including manuals, assessments, performance benchmarks, and role-specific learning paths with a primary focus on the operations/claims department. Facilitate live and virtual training sessions, coaching, and calibration exercises to strengthen consistency and effectiveness across the department. Work closely with Claims leadership and subject matter experts to tailor learning initiatives to operational goals and evolving regulatory requirements. Monitor trainee performance, provide feedback, and adjust programs to address skill gaps and boost results. Lead monthly Quality Assurance calibration sessions, integrating QA feedback into training to promote continuous improvement. Serve as an internal expert and training partner, supporting departmental growth and aligning practices with company values and Florida compliance standards. What You Bring 2-6 years of experience designing and delivering job-specific training in a corporate or insurance environment. Experience working with Articulate 360, Canva, and LMS platforms. Direct experience with training curriculum development, facilitation, and assessment tools. High School diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree or relevant certifications preferred. Strong communication, instructional design, and presentation skills. Insurance and/or claims experience strongly preferred. A self-motivated, analytical thinker with a passion for education and operational excellence.
