JOB SUMMARY

This position performs as a Region Trainer and is an excellent fit for individuals with a strong background in Child Support. If you enjoy training and providing support to others, this may be the position for you.

Your duties would include:

Maintaining an operational knowledge of Florida’s Child Support Program including knowledge of the Program’s procedures as they pertain to Child Support. Conducting and facilitating Child Support training to meet statewide and local training requirements, ensuring proper utilization of standardized course material and job aids, and other approved resources. Acting as an instructor using effective classroom instruction techniques by use of visual aids, variety in presentation, and responsiveness to class participants, and when teaching individuals. Working in Microsoft Office using Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, the Program’s computer system, state systems and the internet to research and evaluate information and to utilize training presentation software.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue
At least two years of experience working with the Child Support Program at the level of Revenue Specialist II or above
Experience in training, teaching, or instructing individuals
Experience utilizing presentation software (i.e. PowerPoint)
Experience researching information and interpreting procedures

SPECIAL NOTES

This is a full-time position, standard workday of 8am – 5pm, Monday through Friday.
This position may require periodic travel.
This position can be housed in Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, West Palm Beach, or Naples service sites.
This role is eligible for part-time telework after you complete required training and reach an acceptable level of proficiency. A skills verification test will be administered to all qualified applicants. Responses to qualifying questions should be verifiable by skills and/or experiences stated on application and/or resume.
