GENERAL FUNCTION

: The Trainer will assist in developing and implementing training programs for the Florida Medicaid Enrollment Broker Services Project. The Trainer will actively search, design, and implement effective methods to educate, enhance performance and recognize performance. This position will create the necessary teaching aids or materials needed for the training (i.e., PowerPoint presentations, pre-tests and post-tests, and handouts). The Trainer will assist with coordinating the training schedule for new hires and required annual trainings. The Trainer will assist with the training, facilitate the new employee onboarding and human resources related staff training, and coordinate site tours. This position will be responsible for oversight, development, and implementation of all staff training. This position is based in the Tallahassee-area office and reports to the Training/QA Director. Requirements Knowledge

• Bachelor’s Degree in Health Education or related field and/or equivalent experience/training required. Requires thorough understanding of Florida Medicaid policies and managed care. Skills/Abilities
• Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills as well as presentation, cultural competence, and organizational capabilities.

Familiarity with Medicaid regulations and trends in health care policy and issues. Must be able to plan, prepare, evaluate, and coordinate new training and in-service programs. Must possess a demonstrated awareness of key stakeholders and be able to communicate effectively with them. Strong PC skills (i.e., ProProfs, Power BI, etc.) required. Experience

• Minimum one year of training experience required. Minimum of two years of experience in a contact center or health and human services environment preferred. Exertional Level

• some sitting, standing, walking, lifting, reaching, squatting, and kneeling is required occasionally. Location Requirements
• This position is an on-site position conducting primarily virtual training classes.
