The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing home visitor performance and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the organization. This position involves designing, and implementing training programs that align with our strategic goals. The Training Specialist I will collaborate with various departments to identify training needs and develop effective learning solutions. Responsibilities . Develop comprehensive training programs using various instructional techniques and formats, including e-learning, workshops, and in-person training opportunities. Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to deliver and track training completion. Facilitate engaging training sessions for home visitors and supervisors that promote adult education principles and encourage participant interaction. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and satisfaction surveys. Stay current with child welfare and safety trends to ensure training relevance. Provide ongoing support and resources for employees to reinforce learning post-training. Travel is required. Skills. Preference will be given to bi-lingual (Spanish) applicants. Knowledge of home visiting, child safety, positive parenting, child development and/or child welfare is required. Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to educate diverse audiences. Experience in developing training content that caters to various learning styles. Familiarity with LMS platforms for efficient program delivery and tracking. Knowledge of adult education methodologies to enhance learner engagement. Ability to build relationships and foster collaboration in training efforts.
