Description Under the supervision of Clinic Support leadership, the Patient Access training specialist is responsible for providing departmental training and on-going education for new and existing staff specific to an oncology setting. Responsible for preparing, organizing, and effectively communicating classroom material. The Patient Access Training Specialist is responsible for creating and developing competencies for staff, holding in-service training sessions, and updating leadership of employees’ progress. Accurately maintains and updates all necessary training material by working closely with department leadership. Maintains thorough knowledge of scheduling and registration electronic systems, department policies, processes, and procedures pertaining to registration and scheduling in an oncology setting. Liaison between Clinic Support leadership and other department leadership within MCI to ensure accuracy in scheduling and registration protocols and training manuals. Estimated pay range for this position is $20.32 – $24.59 / hour depending on experience.

Bachelors.
Licenses & Certifications:
ATD Certified Professional in Learning and Performance.
Additional Qualifications:
Training and oncology experience required. Experience in corporate training program and development strongly preferred. An additional 3 years of training experience may be accepted in lieu of formal certification.
