Job Description:
Training Support will provide aircrew training support to the 492 SOW, ensuring effective coordination and management of formal training requirements.
Responsibilities:
Processing up to 20 Form 42 requests per month covering class overages, new training line numbers, and MILPDS duty status codes. Coordinate Form 391s for disenrollment processing and MILPDS discrepancies notifications.
Track and process Syllabus of Instruction and Secondary Method Training waiver requests across four MDSs and 200 formal training students.
Assist units with compliance with DAF, HHQ and local directives related to training announcements, data trend analysis, and development of training plans.
Draft Programmed Flying Training (PFT) projections for aircrew training quota requirements and match training allocations to
AFSOC HQ
quotas.
Produce and present inputs for weekly classified Commander’s Update Briefs, submit bi-weekly activity reports, prepare briefings and documentation including Bullet Background Papers, Point Papers, and PowerPoint presentations relating to Joint Planning Group and 492 SOW initiatives, and coordinate senior briefings as required.
Requirements
Must have familiarity with MILPDS, aircrew training coordination, Forms 42 and 391 processing, Air Force formal training program policies.
Strong organizational, documentation and communication skills are required. Bachelor’s degree in related field.
Five (5) years’ AFSOC instructor/training experience is required. Active Secret Clearance required.
