About this role:

We prefer that someone is based in the Orlando, Florida area where the Training Center will be located. The Plumbing Technical Training Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing training programs for plumbing technicians and managers. This role will also visit our company sites to coach plumbing business and technician improvement opportunities in one-on-one and group settings. The outcome of these efforts will ensure technicians are proficient in the latest techniques, safety procedures, and industry standards, ultimately contributing to a skilled and efficient workforce that produces the best technicians in the business. In this role you will be responsible for: Working with the business and leverage reporting to identify training needs based on industry standards, company performance goals, and technician performance. Continuously evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and update as needed. Monitoring technician performance and identify areas for improvement through reporting analysis, performance evaluations and feedback. Working with our Instructional Designer to design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs for new hires, as well as ongoing professional development for experienced technicians and managers. Creating training materials, including manuals, presentations, job-aids and videos. Conducting seminars, workshops, and one-on-one training sessions to deliver training programs in classroom settings and in our plumbing lab for hands-on learning. Providing on-the-job training and mentoring to ensure practical application of knowledge and skills, including ride-alongs with technicians if our various locations. Ensuring that technicians are trained in safety procedures and regulations. Staying up to date on relevant industry standards and compliance requirements. Collaborating with other departments, site and regional leaders to achieve company goals and needs. Communicating effectively with business leaders and other stakeholders to ensure that all training needs are met.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum five years in-depth understanding of plumbing systems, techniques, and industry standards. Master Plumber certification preferred. Excellent facilitation skills to keep technicians engaged during training sessions and thorough understanding of plumbing to serve as subject matter expert to design effective training programs. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences and build strong working relationships. Ability to lead and mentor technicians. Ability to manage multiple projects, produce update documents and create timelines and prioritize tasks effectively. The physical requirements of this job include: Perform work while sitting and/or standing at an individual work station or office Communicate verbally via phone or other communication device. Ability to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone Use hands to type, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Occasionally stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 10 pounds. Work is usually performed in an indoor office environment.
