Active DoD Secret Clearance preferred Engenium is working in partnership to support international training initiatives in Morocco. We are currently seeking an experienced JCATS Training Specialist to join our team in Ben Guerir. This is a unique opportunity to apply your simulation expertise in a dynamic, multi-national environment supporting both military and civilian training operations.
What You’ll Do:
As a member of a specialized team, you’ll be responsible for delivering and managing mission-critical training that integrates complex simulation environments.
Your day-to-day may include:
Delivering hands-on instruction using the JCATS (Joint Conflict and Tactical Simulation) system for entity creation, scenario development, and training execution. Supporting both military and civilian personnel in classroom, simulation center, and field environments. Designing and customizing training modules using various teaching methodologies, including classroom instruction, virtual simulations, and field exercises. Operating in both austere and non-austere environments, supporting diverse mission sets. Evaluating student performance and documenting results for program improvement and reporting. Coordinating and requesting training materials, equipment, and logistical support as needed. Traveling on a temporary duty (TDY) basis to other locations in support of ongoing training missions.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience with JCATS, including entity creation, scenario development, and scenario management.
Training Expertise:
Proven experience in developing and conducting training programs for military or government personnel.
Adaptability:
Willingness to operate in diverse environments – from well-equipped training centers to remote or challenging field conditions.
Instructional Skills:
Ability to tailor training for various class sizes and experience levels, using both traditional and technology-enhanced delivery methods.
Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective instruction, reporting, and team collaboration.
Travel:
Ability to travel internationally and support TDY assignments as required.
