OverviewWe are looking for a Practice Integration Specialist Acquisitionsto join the Practice Integration Team at a growing,technology-focused Dental Services Organization (DSO) experiencingexciting direct-to-consumer, de novo, and acquisition growth. Thisrole will be primarily focused on the onboarding, engagement,assessment, training, and ongoing support of staff at newlyacquired clinics as they transition into the Sage Dental family. Todrive success, the candidate will combine technical expertise,strong interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of industrypractices. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possessexceptional communication and relationship-building skills, and becomfortable leading both individual and group training sessions.

Key responsibilities will include conductingpractice assessments for newly acquired clinics, training teammembers on our Practice Management System (PMS), supportingoperational initiatives and workflows, and ensuring a seamlessintegration of Sage Dentals specific processes. This positionrequires up to 90% travel time which may include weekends andovernight stays, as applicable. Travel is non-negotiable.
Responsibilities Actively participate in the setup and operationallaunch of new clinics as assigned. Conduct the initial assessmentof newly acquired clinics to understand their current workflows,identify gaps, and develop a tailored training plan to ensure asmooth Practice Management System (PMS) conversion. Provideon-the-job training, shadowing, and mentorship to ensure the teamsare familiar with Sage Dental workflows and operations procedures.
Perform both pre- and post-conversion assessments to monitorprogress and ensure optimal outcomes. Facilitate and implementtraining programs that enable clinics to maximize financial andoperational performance, enhance office workflows, and streamlinesystems. Organize a training curriculum that honors company ethicsand conduct that is engaging and allows trainees the maximumopportunity to participate. Provide on-site and remote supportthroughout the assignment, during the turnover period & grandopening, pre- & post-close through systems conversion, practicestabilization, and hand-off to the Director of Market Operations.
Contribute to the assessment and creation of a comprehensiveonboarding and integration plan for newly acquired practices.
Complete detailed documentation to track integration achievementsand key aspects of the practice transition. Maintain an up-to-datedirectory and inventory of training materials, ensuring resourcesare accurate and current, and coordinate the creation of newmaterials as needed. Manage checklists and multiple projects withattention to detail, ensuring deadlines are met and tasks arecompleted efficiently. Serve as a resource, representative, andmentor to assist with the understanding of new policies andoperational processes. Build and maintain strong, professionalrelationships with a wide range of individuals, maintaining apositive demeanor, particularly in challenging situations. Travelto assigned locations, including overnight stays, as required.
Assist with additional projects and initiatives needed to supportthe organization’s growth and development. QualificationsAssociates degree or relevant certification, with dental-relatedexperience preferred. Operational experience within a dentaloffice, four years + preferred Proficiency in practice managementsystems (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, Denticon, etc)Comfortable with public speaking in various learning settings, bothin-person and remote. Ability to create and present complexinformation to a variety of audiences. Strong attention to detailand organizational skills in all aspects of work. Must be able todemonstrate leadership by serving as an example to others regardingprofessional behavior, handling multiple tasks, maintaining apositive attitude, and in response to organizational change.
Changemanagement:
Understand the importance of creating rapport with teammembers undergoing change and assisting them in feeling at ease fortheir upcoming PMS conversion. Proficiency with Microsoft Word,Excel, and PowerPoint. Quick learner of new software andtechnology. Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, andwork well both individually and as part of a team. Ability to usetime productively and contribute to high levels of companyoperational efficiency and effectiveness. Ability to maintainconfidentiality of information. Passion for training others.
