THE POSITION

Under the supervision of the Director of Learning and Development, is responsible for analyzing, designing, develop, document, implement, and continually evaluate learning plans and learning applications. Creates a learning culture necessary to make a positive impact in retention and increase revenue to support our mission As the Learning and Development Generalist, you will: Improve the organization’s capabilities to learn and grow through Goodwill’s Core Values along with the standards of inclusion, respect, empowerment, and engagement by facilitating, coaching, analyzing, and managing learning and development. Works collaboratively with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) within the company to identify training needs and trends, complete needs analysis; develop and validate training content, methods, and materials, and ensure effective transfer of learning. Design learning solutions that include a blended approach to learning such as instructor-led training, e-learning, coaching, and experiential learning. Oversees Leadership Development Program (LDP) for overall effectiveness and impact, and maintains the integrity of the Program. Develops, designs, and manages LDP (All three phases) – for organizational leaders who have completed their LDP1 functional training requirements, making recommendations for an individualized development plan (IDP), and conducting follow-up conferences for all leadership learning plans. Manages the pre-nom process for the Pursuit of Education Program to ensure the timeliness of supporting development requests. Reviews all new content and communicates with leadership team areas for improvement.

THE QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in organizational development, training, or education, preferred. Minimum of three years in the field of Learning and Development, or Training to include instructional design, instructor-led presentations, and multiple platform delivery.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to work occasional after-hours and weekends Incumbent must possess a valid driver’s license, appropriate insurance coverage, and a privately owned reliable means of transportation to travel throughout GIMI territory. Ability to bend, reach, and stand for extensive period of time, and lift up to twenty-five pounds on an occasional basis.
