Job Summary :
The Training Coordinator will have overall responsibility to design, plan, and implement training programs, procedures, standards, lean implementation and training too l s under the d i rect i on of the Cl M anager. The tra i n i ng coordinator w ill be a core member o f the leadership team and will support facets of operations and production.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Creates a training program for d iff erent roles and functions i n conjunc t io n wi t h leade r ship team . W iII develop an overall plant training s y stem and implement training programs that directl y impact measures I i k e productiv i ty , qua l i ty , efficienc y , retent i on , lean pr i nc i ples , and environmenta l impacts . Ensures that tra i n i ng materia l s and programs are current , accurate , and effect i ve . M a i ntains k no w ledge of ne w methods and techn i ques f or tra i n i ng , and training requirements app l icable to the organization and / or industry I dentifies prob l ems and opportun i t i es such as operational changes or indust ry dev e lopments that tra i n i ng cou l d i mprove . Conducts or facil i tates required and recommended training sessions . Collaborates w i th vendors and third-pa rty tr a i n ing providers to arrange emp l o y ee reg i strat i on and part i c i pat i on in outs i de tra i n i ng programs . Ensures that tra i n i ng m il estones and goals are met w h il e adher i ng to the approved tra i n i ng budget M a i ntains a s i te- w ide s k ills matr i x and k eeps i t updated , through preparation and administration of assessments and qua l ificat i ons . Onboards hourl y emp l o y ees to opt i mall y integrate i nto the plant W ill present information us i ng a varie ty of i nstructional techniques or formats , such as ro l e pla y i ng , simu l at i ons , team e x erc i ses , group discussions , videos , or l ectures . Development of a Cross-Tra i n i ng P l an to address bott l enec k s , resourcing , and opt i mizing overall staffing l eve l s . Defines and establ i shes a Train the Trainer program f or the fac il ity Establ i shes and mainta i ns a training ‘ pla y boo k”. Prepares and implements the tra i n i ng budget Performs other related dut i es as assigned . Have the capability and desire to develop as a CI specialist. Have the capability to understand execute lean principles. Facilitate training in a classroom setting.
Education and Experience :
Assoc i ate’s degree or equivalent w or k e x perience 3 to 5 y ears in training or deve l opment

Proficient w ith tools used for creating One Point L essons ( OP L) , Training SOP ‘ s , Videos etc .
Physical Requirements :
Prolonged periods of s i tt i ng at a des k and w or k i ng on a computer M ust be able to l ift 15 pounds at times . F l e x ib il i ty required to accommodate interact i ons w i th manufactu r ing on all shifts .
