Job Description Purpose and Scope:
An operations trainer plays an essential role in the growth and efficiency of an organization’s workforce. They will provide the needed knowledge and skills for the employees, leading to increased productivity and improved customer satisfaction, and profitability.
Responsibilities:
Develops, stages, and maintains realistic training applications for employee use and demonstration of processes and functions. Hosts live in classroom, virtual, recorded, and on-site training sessions. Works with departments and leaders to develop instructional plans to meet objectives of new business processes. Defines and determines training needs in accordance with Unis and regulatory requirements. Partners with operational counterparts to ensure alignment in training needs. Fill in as needed on warehouse floor and/or work with operations to train on new procedures on floor. Responsible for the quality of training provided. Maintain training materials for compliance and audits. Produce high quality deliverables, on time under aggressive deadlines. Interface with all levels of employees.
Requirements:
Job Competency / Qualifications Possess exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize under deadlines. Can meet demands in short notice. Required excellent verbal/written communication skills, intense training skills, and proven relationship building skills at any level. Ability to travel Bachelor’s Degree (relevant work experience would be considered in lieu of Degree) Microsoft Applications Minimum three -five years of Training Experience in Warehousing (Desired, but not required) Bilingual Desired Experience in a warehouse setting. Ability to operate forklift, scissor lift, pallet jack, etc.
